COP27: WildHearts Global Youth Summit Returns

Last year, during COP26, we hosted The World’s Largest Youth-led Climate Summit, connecting over 35,000 young people across 5 continents. This November we will return during COP27, and we are inviting every school to join our global network of empowered young people to learn, collaborate and innovate to create a more sustainable future and career.

There are lots of exciting ways for schools and students to get involved, both virtually and in person. Our Global Youth Summit Hubs will be hosted in Glasgow, London, and Boston, providing a collaborative space for students to empower each other through interactive workshops delivered in collaboration with our Corporate Schools Partners.

Workshops and activities have also been created to be available on-demand meaning they can be delivered to students virtually, anywhere. To get involved, all you need to do is click play on the pre-recorded content.

By registering for this year’s summit, you will have access to all the following activities and workshops:

  • Sustainability lesson plans – A series of 45-minute lesson plans to increase students’ knowledge of sustainability and its importance.
  • Sustainability workshops – A series of 45-minute workshops, for students to take part in: Practical Activities to create a solution to a real-life business case study, Class Debates to improve critical thinking and communication, and Research Activities to improve analytical and presentation skills.
  • Climate awareness assemblies – This 15-minute click-and-play assembly, is a great opportunity to inform and empower students whilst raising awareness of sustainability in your school.
  • The Global Youth Summit virtual opening ceremony – During this unique and exciting event you will hear from inspirational speakers on how we can play our part in making the world a fairer and more sustainable place.
  • The Careers with Purpose podcast – This 20-minute video from leading companies will show what careers with purpose look like and how students can pursue them. It will also show careers that contribute to environmental preservation, conservation, and sustainability.

We are delighted to be supported by our Corporate Schools Partners, such as BNP Paribas, Sopra Steria, Linklaters Wesleyan, Zurich, Nestlé and Barclays, who will be helping to deliver the content for this year’s summit.
